Processional begins in Lot P17 next to the Oakland University Rec Center.
Leave an empty seat if someone is absent
Raise your hand if you are in the Band or Choir. Make sure to tell the person next to you to save your seat and give them your card on Saturday.
Band/Choir goes directly to the stage
Look for red/gold ribbons and cards on the back of the chair to find your row.

15. CONFERRING OF DIPLOMAS
We will start with the students on stage and then the Marshalls will dismiss you by rows to go on stage and receive your diploma. Hand your card to the person saying your name, walk across the stage, shake hands, get your picture taken on the side of the stage and return to your seat.

16. CLOSING/RECESSIONAL
Mitch will give the last student address and Elise will lead you in turning your tassel from right to left. Dr. Dixon will give the Final Farewell. Everyone on stage will leave first followed by the students starting with the students in the last row. The Marshalls will assist you in dismissing the rows.

17. PRACTICE RECEIVING DIPLOMAS
Everyone will leave out the right, receive your diploma, get your picture taken and enter back on the left on Saturday. (Not today)
Today – Carefully open your white envelope and take out your white index card. Do not lose your tickets which are in your white envelopes. They cannot be replaced. Marshalls will dismiss you by rows. You will walk up front by Mr. Turner say your name into the phone-speak slowly and clearly. If you don’t want your middle name said–cross it out! You must leave the white card with Mr. Turner. DO NOT KEEP THE CARD!

18. FINES AND OBLIGATIONS After you say your name, students who
DO NOT have fines or academic obligations will go upstairs to get your cap/gown.
If you have fines/academic obligations (it will be marked on the outside of your white envelope) you have to see Mrs. Sparbeck across from AP office and you can get your cap/gown in the AP Office Conference Room after everything has been taken care of.

19. Senior Honors Rehearsal
If you were invited to attend Senior Honors, rehearsal is at 12:30 today. We will meet right here in the gym at 12:30 sharp! Otherwise we will see you Saturday at Parking Lot P17 next to the Oakland University Rec Center at 2:30 p.m.
