1 Static vs Dynamic Characters
Dynamic Character: a character who develops or changes as a result of the action of the plot. He/she undergoes an internal change in attitude, opinions, values, or outlook on life. Static Character: a character who stays the same; most likely does not change during the story. He/she DOES NOT undergoes an internal change in attitude, opinions, values, or outlook on life.

2 Character Cutouts Left Arm - Write Dynamic or Static (to indicate which this character is) Right Arm - Write the name of character Left Leg – Text evidence of what this character was like when they were introduced in the novel. Right Leg - Text evidence of what this character was like at the end of the novel. Tummy – Explanation why this is a STATIC or DYNAMIC character in the novel. Write in COMPLETE sentences! DO not decorate the character until your text is written in!!
