6. Where do we use it?
As you get older, there are more and more difficult maths problems.
Often they have different operations in them.
We need to work out how to work out the problem.
There’s a rule for the order in which we do the sums in the whole problem!

7. BIMDAS
You remember the rule of BIMDAS. If there is a multiplication problem in the sum, you do that one first. (M)
Then you do the division problem. (D)
Next, you do the addition. (A)
You do the subtraction problem last. (S)
