Describe the new business strategies which allowed men such as Carnegie and Rockefeller to acquire a great amount of wealth. Why were these men referred to as “robber barons?” Do you agree with this assessment? Why or why not?

Chapter 7 Explain the role and structure of political machines. Why did immigrants play such an important role in political machines? Ultimately, what lessons did America learn from the experiences of the Great Depression and the New Deal? Support your answer!
