(B) ASL antimicrobial activity at baseline and after placebo. Placebo treatment did not increase the ASL antimicrobial activity compared to baseline (baseline vs placebo Mean±SD, 6155±1130 vs 5670±1089; 95% CI of the difference −1170 to 198.5; p= by paired t-test).
