8 Current Progression Plan for Traffic Control Devices
Start with mid-block pedestrian crosswalk signing & pavement markings & street lights. If Enforcement Issue (i.e., non-compliance w/ stopping for peds per State law), request Selective Law Enforcement assignment by local Police/Sheriff’s. If continued enforcement issue, install Stop Bar Pavement Markings & “Stop Here for Peds” Regulatory Sign. Add Supplemental Traffic Control Device (Flashing Beacon, RRFB, Mid-Block Ped Signal, new technology, etc.)
