This slide shows an overview of the most important differentiators of the Flow-X from its main competitors. Where other products are based
on a panel mount chassis that can hold several expansion boards, the Flow-X uses a totally different concept with flow modules that fit in 4 different type of enclosures for installation flexibility. The Flow-X provides
the most accurate 4 to 20 mA inputs. The table defines the accuracy for an ambient temperature range of 5 to 50 degrees Celsius. The Flow-X provides
the most accurate clock, which is important for flow rate integration over time and for hourly and daily period reporting. Not only the hardware but also
the Flow-X software is certified for legal metrology. The Flow-X
supports GERG-2008, which is the most accurate calculation for natural gas.
Unlike Krohne‘s Summit the Flow-X provides complete liquid functionality with respect to batching and proving capabilities and calculation algorithms. And unlike the Omni 6000 and the S600 the Flow-X also provides built-in valve control, sampling control, compositional data totals and averages for liquid and much more. Unlike
the Omni 6000 the Flow-X provides freely definable Modbus mappings for communication with other devices and systems.
With the Flow-X it is possible to interface to any Modbus or HART capable field device, which is not provided by any other flow computer. And the Flow-X is the only flow computer
that supports personal user accounts, providing the highest level of security by locking out unauthorized persons and the highest level of traceability by identifying the actual person in the event log and audit trail.
