If you choose only the UPS & batteries, you will need to provide your own input and output connections as well as a socket strip to connect your equipment to:

3. Option 2:
If you choose the optional PPDM ( ) you are able to plug your equipment directly into the UPS and do not need any more equipment*. The PPDM also comes with the L6-30R input connection:
Cables to connect the PPDM to the UPS and back are included with the PPDM as flying leads.

You can use this 32A Commando socket as an option to connect to an external distribution strip like in option 1 if you prefer.

* As long as the PPDM provides enough connections for your solution! If not you may need to provide additional distribution connections.

4. The PPDM in more detail (700404700)
The PPDM provides two main benefits:
Allows electrical isolation of the main UPS module for repair, maintenance or replacement without having to turn off your voice equipment.
It provides output electrical connections to connect your equipment directly and saves on installation cost.
