Return your letter of acceptance by to Anne-Kari Ruud, to confirm your stay
Housing is pre-booked – but you still need to apply at to confirm your booking!
When you receive the contract from SiBV – carefully read it, sign it and return it to SiBV!

7. Prepare your departure!
First day of class: January 15, 2016
Orientation: Exact date will be launched shortly!
Book your ticket to make sure to be there for Orientation!
Confirm your arrival date and time to Anne-Kari
Transport from the airport: Buses from OSL Gardermoen airport directly to Hønefoss every 2 hour
Bus/train to Oslo Central Station – from there by bus to Hønefoss every hour
Upon arrival: you will be met by Anne-Kari or the hosts (students) at the student housing, to get the key to your apartment

Student housing – SiBV
Shared apartments – from 4 up to 7 students
Apartments are located «uphill» or «downhill» at Ringerike. Due to high demand for housing, it is unfortunately not possible to choose where to live. From August 2016 – all will be «downhill»!
Only full monthly rent is accepted. Your rental starts January 1 – ends June 30
Private bedroom, most of them have private bathrooms, shared kitchen/living space
You can pre-order a set of bed clothing, linens and towels from SiBV but you should remember to bring an ekstra pair
Kitchen utensils are not included – BUT in most apartments the kitchen will be equipped with necessary leftover utensils that you may share with other students
You may pay your monthly rent by bank transfer or in cash
No deposit is required – but the first monthly rate should be pre-paid when you return your contract
Please remember that all questions regarding housing should be directed to SiBV at or to the local SiBV representative on campus
