5 Functionality Introduction
SAMMS is a monitored -to-message exchange system providing monitored and secured communication between sender and Recipient with the following functionality: Controlled messaging between two parties Do Not List (DNE) Keyword Spotting Authentic Language Detection Event Notification Recipient Name/Address Lookup Reporting Message Metering

6 Functionality Introduction Controlled Messaging
Controlled Messaging allows a corrections Agency to review and approve all outbound and inbound messages to and from allowed Recipients/senders—in essence, full Administrative rights for the following: Creation of “Do Not ” list for Members Creation of “Word Spotting” list Establishment of messaging balances of Members (message metering)

7 Functionality Introduction “Do Not Email” List
Do Not List (DNE) allows the Agency to control what external Recipients are permitted in Members’ Address Books Agency can also provide a Restricted List (REL) for Member SAMMS Member will have a personal address book. No DNE or REL listed Recipients area capable of being saved to this address book or used to generate a message Agency can auto search for Names & Addresses in surrounding area of Recipient’s residence

8 Functionality Introduction Keyword Spotting
Keyword Spotting detects specific key words—as designated by the Agency—to mitigate the risk of fraudulent and criminal activity in ed messages. Agency creates a global list of words to search prior to messages being processed and generating to Recipient Agency has option to create custom list of words for individual Recipient Submitted messages are validated against the global and custom list of words. Any exception messages are queued for review

9 Functionality Introduction Event Notification
Event Notification allows certain events to trigger alarm notifications to the Agency. Agency has option to configure system to - notify in addition to the online notification when messages are flagged as exceptions Agency can approve or reject exception messages Exception messages are processed and ed to Recipient only after Agency approval Rejected exception messages are sent back to originating party indicating access denied and sent to Agency file for archiving

Reporting allows the Agency a full range of information to report message volumes, transaction histories, and revenue. Exception reporting allows the Agency to view the following exception situations and then take appropriate steps to mitigate risk: Authentication Success-Failure Report Destination premise and nearby background report (i.e., person who resides with member, neighbors, etc) Subject Migratory Report Associated transaction-based public records
