Complete key quote / chapter summary tables for chapters 1-23 Set up chapter summary & key quote tables for Volume 2: chapters Complete chapter summaries / key quotes for 24-30

3 Group work task You will have ten minutes to present your chapter. You will produce slides to accompany your talk. Slide 1: How does the plot move forward in this chapter? Bullet point + quotes. Keep it concise. No more than 4 bullet points. Slide 2: How are themes developed in this chapter? Social class/ marriage / self- knowledge / attitudes to women / manners / money . Key quotes + Austen’s intention. No more than 3 quotes – only comment on most relevant theme explored. Slide 3: Choose an extract and write an exam style question for it. Then write an SQI paragraph incorporating A02 and A03 that meets top band. Slide 4: literary criticism – about a character or theme or event that occurs in your section. One or two interesting critical quotes and where you found them.
