5 GCSEs Grade C or above (incl Maths & English Language) Must have completed 2 years in higher education (A- levels or equivalent) Looking for 12 month placement IBM Apprenticeship Scheme 2016 Tariff 5 GCSEs Grade C or above (incl Maths & English Language) 2016 Tariff Obtained or predicted 160 UCAS points from A- levels or equivalent 2017 Tariff Obtained or predicted 64 UCAS points from A- levels or equivalent Flexible attitude to travelling around the country & staying away from home You don’t need any work experience just a passion for business & technology

19 IBM BSc Degree in Software Development for apprentices in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University Workbased learning in The Integrated Project modules Assignments in other modules 3 year degree programme Recognition of prior learning allows apprentices to complete the degree within 3 years BSc degree in Software Development for Business 3 Trimesters per year 2 x 11 week trimesters- 1 day a week on GCU campus 1 trimester (Summer) where learning is more work based

3 year Business Management (Honours) degree, which is a level 6 Degree apprenticeship Validated by University of Kent Provides CMI Chartered Manager Status Study at Pearson Business School & “rotations” at 2 different companies from: Tesco, Unilever, Direct Line, WPP Ogilvy, Pearson Degree apprentices remain employed by IBM 50% of learning based on core modules & 50% of learning tailored to work experience 80% time in workplace & 20% at Pearson College/ self study on Fridays for 52 weeks/yr Degree apprentices need to spend up to 1 day/ week of their own time on self study Tuition fees paid 2/3 government; 1/3 employer Rotations Dates- based on September 2017 start Initial placement at IBM September 2017 – August 2018 1st rotation at another company September 2018 – April 2019 2nd rotation at another company May December 2019 Final placement at IBM January 2020 – August 2020 IBM degree apprentice cohort of 2 started 2016 Apprentice to degree apprentice 1 GTS; 1 Systems- Hardware
