14 Docking Station (Microphone Charging Station)
Charges transmitters (microphones) Charges 8 microphones simultaneously Charges any ClearOne wireless microphone Tabletop Gooseneck battery cassette Handheld Belt-pack Charges only NiMH batteries Won’t charge & affect Alkaline batteries General charging period is 8-10 hours Powered through AC power supply Dimensions: 13.25” x 5.75” RF automatically mutes when transmitter is docked When connected to wall-wart USB charger or computer USB port, transmitter will transmit signal (with or without batteries) and will charge if NiMH batteries are installed.

15 Antenna One pair of antennas for up to 32 channels
3 models for 3 Freq. range M915, M715, M610 Strongly recommended to use a pair of antennae for better performance Antenna kits includes pair of extension antennas and RJ58 Plenum rated cables. Available with 25 feet cables & with 50 feet cables Directly connected to wireless base station with antenna in and out connectors 6 Design Rules : 1. Inter-Modulation Distortion: The distance to the most distant transmitter should not be more than double the distance to the closest transmitter 2. Diversity: The antennae should be separated so that the ends of the transmitter antenna (the null) cannot be aimed at both antennae at the same time 3. Line of Sight: All antennae should remain in the line of sight of both antennae. Line of sight means all transmitters are not blocked by metal, concrete, and similar radio opaque objects, and there is minimal signal absorption through people’s bodies. 4. Cable Loss: The total antenna cable loss should be less than 15 dB. 5. Range Loss: Doubling the distance between a transmitter and an antenna cuts the signal strength by a factor of 4 (inverse square law). Keep the antennae as close as practical without violating Rule 1. 6. Transmitter Power: Adjust the transmitter power to meet the -40 to -60 dBm rating.

17 Remote Configuration, Control & Monitor Software
Software features full-system monitoring and control via the Graphical User Interface Set-up individual channels Designate redundant channels Balance audio to mixed line/headphone out Scan RF environment Set up alerts for faults & proactive battery charge Remote troubleshooting Simple-to-use Software application on Windows (XP, Vista, 7)

18 WS800 with CONVERGE® Pro Configuring WS800 to work with CONVERGE® Pro:
Select the desired microphone channel Set Tx Gain to 0 dB Set Mute Mode to Hard Mute Set Power Switch Mode to On/Off Then synchronize the transmitter with the receiver. Refer the Technical Application Note in our website for more details

19 WS800 with CONVERGE® Pro (continued)
Microphone Gain Settings in CONVERGE® Pro See the Technical Application Note in our website for required settings. Open the desired microphone channel and Turn off the Phantom power, as phantom power is not needed for WS800 to work with CONVERGE®. Set the Course Gain to 28 dB Adjust Course Gain until Post Gain meter peaks close to +6 dB Adjust Fine Gain so that Post Gain meter peaks at +6 dB This is needed for all Converge Pro units: 840T, 880, 880T, 880TA, 8i, SR1212, SR1212A

20 WS800 with CONVERGE Pro (continued)
Push to talk mode Settings (for AEC units) When microphones are muted, turned on/off may cause producing echo and affect AEC To avoid this, Converge Pro provides Push-To-Talk (PTT) mode Enable this PTT mode When the microphone is off or muted the Pre Gain Meter will show a level below -90 dB Adjust the Threshold slider down to the level of the Pre Gain Meter. This is needed for all Converge Pro units: 840T, 880, 880T, 880TA, 8i Refer the Technical Application Note in our website for details.
