Figure 1 Co-Localization of Disease Resistance QTLs and Defense-Responsive Genes. The RIL population and disease resistance data were from previous studies (Chen, 2001; Chen et al., 2003). The defense-responsive genes OsWRKY13 OsDR8 GH3-8 and OsMPK6 were mapped using PCR-based markers. The QTLs were analyzed with the software QTLMAPPER (Wang et al., 1999).
