HOST FAMILY & AU PAIR ACCOUNTS: WHAT’S IN THERE?
If you’ve ever wondered what your host families or au pairs see when they log into their accounts, then you’ll love what I’m just about to show you! Today we’ll take a quick tour through both the HF and AP account. And next time a HF asks you for a social security letter or an au pair asks about her flight home, you’ll know just what to tell them!

When a HF logs in their account, this is what they’ll see.
If you have a HF who thinks they came off hold or repeated but they are not showing as Application Submitted in Salesforce, they probably updated their matching profile (there’s a link underneath the charming photo up there). See where it says “Register by….?”

When it’s time for a HF to repeat or come off hold, they simply click on the big banner telling them to “REGISTER!” It’s easy peasy and takes just seconds.

The first time a family clicks on “Find an Au Pair”, this is what they’ll see. It will tell them what the process is also links to some FAQs.

Here’s a peek at the view of Search & Select that your HFs see.

And when your HF clicks on “My Au Pairs> Holds & Favorites” they see this. Note the text box that says “Your notes.” When you “Favorite” or “Hold” an au pair for interview for a HF, you will get a pop-up box that will require you to enter comments. This is where you’ll explain why you think this is a good candidate for the HF to consider. Whatever you write, they will see! You can also see here when a 48-hour hold will auto-release.

Here’s what the family sees when they click on “My Au Pairs>Au Pairs I’m Hosting” Note the links to the au pair’s flight information, insurance information, documents, and quick info on the right including how to obtain a social security number for their au pair.

When they click on “Insurance Information”, here’s what they see!

But what are the “Documents” you ask?
They’ll need these to get a social security card for sure!

When a family clicks on “My Account>My Profile,” one of the prompts they will see is the alert to complete the Criminal Background Check.

When a family clicks on “My Account>My contacts” they’ll be able to access contact information for their LCC, placement manager, program director, and account services.

And when the family clicks on “My account>Payment Center” they can view their invoices, receipts, discounts, make a payment, and select a payment plan.

Now let’s look at an AP account
Now let’s look at an AP account! This is what it looks like for an au pair who has already matched with a family.

When we scroll down, she can access the same documents that are in the HF account.

Under “Me & My HF> My Profile” the AP can add her US phone number and access her insurance information.

When she clicks on “Me and My HF>My Profile” she can also access her application where she can make changes as necessary and create a new video (good idea if she goes into transition).

If this is an AP in matching, this is what she will see when she firsts logs in. It will prompt her to check her HF match, give her tips for interviewing, alert her to add a video, and give her a status update on her AP courses (required before traveling).

When an AP is in matching, she can click on “Me and My HF> My HF match” to see more about the family. From this page the au pair can express interest in the family or even remove the match after 24 hours.

For an AP who has finaled with a HF, she can access information about the HF under “Me and My HF> My HF”

When an AP clicks on “My Flights”, here’s what she’ll see!

Finally, here is the departure flight request.
