DGP: Daily Grammar Practice
Starting next week we will begin DGP When you come in, it will be on the board instead of the warm-ups we have been doing You will use the same sentence all week, and on Friday there will be a quiz

Scavenger Hunt: use your DGP notes to answer these questions
What is one thing I should put in quotation marks? What is a conjunction? Under adjectives, what is an article? List the demonstrative pronouns. List 5 linking verbs. What four questions do adverbs answer? On which day’s notes would I find comma rules? What is an appositive? 9. Give one example of a prepositional phrase. 10. What is a clause? 11. Name three types of sentences. 12. List 7 conjunctions. 13. On which day would I find information on the apostrophe? 14. What is the purpose of an interrogative sentence? 15. What is an independent clause?
