2. Statistic
Each year, nearly 40,000 people go to the emergency room for treatment for skateboarding injuries .

3. Rule#1
Children ages 5 and younger should not skateboards without an adult .

4. Rule#2
Practice your tricks on a safe area or on grass .

5. Rule #3
Learn to fall on a soft surface, or grass .

6. Rule #4
Don’t jump ramps or do tricks without doing it on a soft surface .

7. Rule #5
Watch out for pebbles, sand and cracks that might jam your wheels .

8. Care/Treatment
If you get really hurt you should go to the emergency room or call 911 .
