2. What is the cover sheet?
Your cover is simply the first page of your Essay.
Your cover sheet should contain:
Essay Title (Place about 1/3 of the way down the page and centered)
Your Name
The Class
Teacher’s Name
The Date

3. What is a Heading?
Your Heading is at the top left of your paper, your heading should be double spaced. Also don’t forget to insert a Header; a Header is located on the top Right of everyone of you papers.
Your Heading should have all of the following in this order:
Full Name
Teacher’s Name
Class Info
Date
Header must included:
You last name along with the page number.

4. What type and size of font is used?
In MLA format Font Times New Roman is the only font allowed to use.
The Font size is 12.
Example: This is the size your font should be, it is size 12 in Times New roman.

5. How are the page margins formatted?
The page Margins should be One inch on all sides (top, bottom, left, right)

6. How to cite research in a paper?
You list a source on a Works Cited page for a research paper in MLA format by listing it this way:
Last Name, First Name. Title italicized or underlined. City of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication.

7. How do I cite research in a bibliography?
A bibliography page is all the books, journals etc which you have read but not used in the text. i.e. you may of read something about football but not used it in your text. We
