The Story of Jeffco Virtual
In 5 years… from 190 students to 1000+ Partners with nearly 40 Jeffco schools 35% are full-time students, 65% are part-time 725 high school students, 315 middle school 55% mobility rate; down from 85% in 11-12 42% Free/Reduced Lunch Program SPF year 3 rating is 64% 1st Century Virtual Academy

Enrollment Options Full Time Minimum of 4 courses per semester
Colorado resident Benchmark assessments (Acuity) TCAP (7-10), ACT (11) Enrolled in no other public school Part Time 1 - 3 courses per semester Can be enrolled part time in: Jeffco school private school home school Credit Recovery (high school) Aligned with semesters Core classes Can be over the age of 21 Do not need to be a Colorado resident Students can take a maximum of two online Credit Recovery courses at any given time. Students enrolled in a Jeffco school pay $20/session, while students not enrolled in a Jeffco school pay $200/0.5 credit.

Engaging Students Events and Fieldtrips: Social school-sponsored events and academic fieldtrips, parties, Graduation, year-end picnic. Clubs: Book Club, Pet Club, National Honor Society, Student Government, Voice Acting, Photography, Gamers Academic Events: School assemblies, orientations, conferences, weekly student work sessions, school visits, instructional support days. Wrap Around Services Reconnect Meeting Target is our part-time students that are not passing Meet after 2nd 6 week grades of semester Held at local libraries throughout district Help re-connect them with their teacher and ask for help 60% pass their classes 1st Century Virtual Academy
