They’ve given us a lot (Chrome and VP8 are great) - But years have passed…
Just communicate with anyone anywhere - even without numbers!?

Not that easy to do, and…
Many services require telephony connections – gateways
Others require enterprise PBX or UC connection
And website click-to-call requires Microsoft’s and Apple’s WebRTC browsers

We hardly use desktop phones with the enterprise PBX / UC solution nowadays
WebRTC has superior remote connectivity: Talk everywhere you can surf - You use it!
WebRTC smartphone clients - OTT over LTE and WiFi - are all you need and WebRTC is far superior to the mobile voice we know.
With smartphone, WebRTC clients connected to the enterprise SIP- trunked PBX and UC (Unified Communications) environment, the SIP trunk provider becomes a OTT virtual mobile operator!
WebRTC softclients – both as Web clients and as apps are coming, even for iPhone. Be aware!
