Homework & Updates Final Tuesday, Dec 12th during regular lecture time
9:45-11am 60 multiple choice questions – Comprehensive (all semester) D2L Quizzes 1-12 & Sun (up to half of test questions) Study all 23 lectures; Study Points on calendar today & Tuesday Observations: Planetarium, Star Gazing, Telescopes, Moon Craters (70 pts.) Due Dec 12, by 11:59pm any observations to Raquel on 12/12 after class or turn them in when you take the final Don’t do telescopes if you haven’t done it yet. Focus on doing planetarium, star gazing & moon craters (& get telescope pts too) Planetarium – go to Como Planetarium on 12/12 or make a shoebox planetarium and bring with you on 12/12 to class Star Gazing – use a star chart and give me a report of what you see (details on Option 7 of 7 for Star Gazing on top of calendar) Moon Craters – use binoculars to look at moon and turn in a report of what you see (details: Option 7 of 7 for Moon Craters) Return borrowed binoculars Tuesday, 12/12/17

Final Exam Should you take the final exam?
Do you have an A as your overall course grade? – No, need to take the final. Did you miss test 1, 2, or 3? – Yes, take the final. Do you have a low observation score? – Yes, take the final. Do you have a low test score that you want to drop? – Yes, take the final. Look at your Overall Course Grade on the class website ( and decide if you are happy with that or if you want to improve your grade. Taking the Final will not lower this grade. The only way to improve your grade now is to complete the last 3 observations or take the final.
