Cognitive framework Under this framework, cognitions precede behavior and constitute input into the person's thinking, perception, problem solving, and information processing. The cognitive approach emphasizes the positive and freewill aspect of human behavior and uses concepts such as expectancy, demand, and intention.

Dependant Variables: Productivity A performance measure that includes effectiveness and efficiency Absenteeism Turnover: The voluntary and involuntary permanent withdrawal from an organization Job Satisfaction: A general attitude (not a behavior) toward one’s job; a positive feeling of one's job resulting from an evaluation of its characteristics
