M1: Project finalised WP 2: Preparatory work for Workshop I (Kick-off) (done) Theoretical background (not re-inventing the wheel) Identify future trends and recent developments influencing CCs (main parameters/characteristics, actual situation, logic charts …) M2: WP and responsibilities defined WP3: Analysis of different types/models of CC programs (done) Main features of different programs (essential design elements, CC approach vs. other alternatives, policy implications, international level …) Carry out the analysis (criteria, comparison of different types/models …) Key performance indicators / Governance M3: Models/types defined WP 4: Work on design options for future program development (running) Identify possible measures for future program development Develop recommendations for the next generation of CCs M4: Final report, Taftie Board presentation

Taftie Academy Workshop May 2014 (Brussels) Workshop I, Kick-off, February 2015 at FFG Vienna Workshop II: Models/types of CC: results of analysis, initial work on KPI and Internationalisation Stockholm June 8-9 Workshop III: Draft working paper: discussion on results and recent developments (Oslo, October 22-23) Last feedback round on the final report: 28 Jan 2016, Brussels Most of the work was completed in 2015, the final report will be given to Taftie in the first half of 2016 3

Report on Workshop III Looking back on Workshop III 21/22 October 2015, Oslo, Norway On invitation of the Research Council Norway Participation of all eleven Taftie member organisations involved in CompAct Introduction of the external experts Michael Dinges (AIT) and Michael Ploder (Joanneum Research) At the third workshop the results of the analysis were discussed and the recent developments in the field of CCs were updated providing the basis for the recommendations in the final report. For the final work the time schedule and responsibilities were adopted.
