2 Project Scope (Project One-Pager)
In Scope Inventory all current content and services considered to be "the web site" Test key areas of functionality on Drupal to verify the platform choice Develop a migration plan and communicate it with GW Libraries staff well in advance as appropriate Form a "web content team" consisting of the principal content owners and stakeholders (including Eckles/Virginia) to communicate the process and encourage buy-in Implement the migration plan Define "Content Manager" roles and responsibilities within each Library group Run simple usability testing with students to test content organization Prepare and deliver training to staff who will manage content Ensure effective uptime, backup, recovery, and monitoring program Disable existing/legacy services (Plone, etc.) and service providers Out of Scope Redesigning the site for look and feel (outside of changes necessitated by the new platform and adherence to the new UWP style guidelines) Adding significant new content or services during the migration process
