What is joomla? Joomla is an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Joomla is Open Source.

History of joomla.. On August 18, 2005, Andrew Eddie called for community input on suggested names for the project. September 1, 2005 the new name, "Joomla!", was announced. It is the English spelling of the Arabic word jumla (جملة) meaning "all together" or "as a whole“. Joomla! (Joomla 1.0.0) was released on September 16,

CMS A content management system (CMS) is a collection of procedures used to manage work flow in a collaborative environment. These procedures can be manual or computer-based. Scan the forum area for reported issues and help community members with solving these issues. Perform testing of offered patches and of reported issues.

Goals Investigate and respond to reported core vulnerabilities. Execute code reviews prior to release to identify new vulnerabilities. Provide public presence regarding security issues. Help the community understand Joomla security.
