'Export Policy' Uttar Pradesh’ 2015-2020 Salient Features
Mission With the aim of tapping export potential of the State and to achieve excellence in the field of exports with the cooperated approach of stakeholders, Export Policy-Uttar Pradesh has been announced. Goal To create environment and high-end infrastructure facilities for rapid and sustained growth of export and to develop a simple, transparent and accountable regulatory atmosphere for it.

Conti..2 Strategy To provide e-governance support to exporters, create a strong analytical database on exports and exporters in the State and developing export portal. To setup an institutional mechanism for promoting exports in the State. To focus competitive advantages, the State has in the global market, by increasing its exports in Information Technology, Bio-Technology, Food Processing, Electronics & Communications, Garments, Machine Tools and Precision Engineering Goods besides the traditional exports. To organize extensive seminars / workshops and Buyer - seller meets at the places of specific sectors of exports, Sectoral study tours in focus countries by delegation of government officials and exporters of concerned sectors to be arranged on regular basis.

Aggressive Strategy for Implementation of Membership
FIEO can focus on major issues e.g. Membership Strategy Building awareness of the Organization and the value of membership by holding monthly press meets as suggested. Creating value of membership to encourage potential Exporters to join FIEO’s network.

Conti….2 At least twice-annual visits to all potential members within the state (concerned Regional / Chapter’s offices), or at least twice-annual telephone to potential associate members within the state by the Officer concerned. (Tele-Calling system) should be done.

Conti..3 To attract New Exporters by way of some Special Authorization from o/o DGFT Approval, for issuance of Preferential Certificate of Origin like SAPTA & APTA under multi-products commodities e.g. India-SriLanka Free Trade Agreement (ISLFTA) & India- Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IJCEPA), or any other as deemed proper. This will help mobilizing New Membership & Revenue generation.

Cont..4 Strategy for Good Liaison should also be maintained with Regional O/o JT. DGFT, Moradabad, Kanpur & Varanasi for use of FIEO’s RCMC in various Export Promotion through DGFT offices. They are raising objections in FIEO’s RCMC to Exporters who registered with FIEO in MPG. They force Exporters to get the RCMC of respective councils and SEPC. This effect our Members and Exporters.
