The primary mission of logistics is to deliver the right resources, at the right place, at the right time, to support state, local, tribal governments and territories. Logistics delivers critical commodities to provide support during disaster operations. There are Logistics 8 distribution centers that are strategically located in the US and OCONUS to provide rapid logistical support. Also, Logistics has established multiple public and private sector partners to provide additional support when needed. Typically, logistics delivers to a Federal ISB that is located in close proximity to provide support quickly to states requesting resources. Logistics also is responsible for purchasing, storing, maintaining, hauling and installing Manufactured Housing Units. We keep an inventory of 2,500 on hand and have contract capability to produce more when needed.
