Hymns and secular songs. Theater enhanced and became more popular.

Singing Known as the “nest of singing birds”.
Music and singing was everywhere. Educated expectations.

Dance Popular pastime. Considered exercise & good for the mind.
Combination of different instruments. Varied Upper class had a different taste them lower class people.

Social Class Upper class: Court dances. Dances from Italy,Spain, and France. Court dances were performed as couples. Masques were popular with the upper class. Lower class: Couldn't participate in court dances.Lower class had less steps. Dancing between the upper and lower class were very different.
