2001 GOES-8/GOES-10/SURFRAD LST OBSERVATION CLR SKY DETECTION: Ming vs. RAMA Figure 1 from (Vinnikov et al., 2008) is reproduced using Ming Chen Clear Sky data. We use indices: 1 – for SURFRAD LST 2 – for GOES-8 LST 3 - for GOES-10 LST Function Y(t), used to approximate diurnal and seasonal variations of LST, contains two first harmonics of annual and two first harmonics of diurnal cycles.
