4 Renaissance 1700s: Renaissance Ends in Europe 1500: Middle Ages end throughout Europe. 1300: Renaissance Begins in Italy 500: Middle Ages Begins The Renaissance is the time period from 1300s-1700s in Europe. The Renaissance marks the end of the Dark Ages or Medieval Europe.
