In the last 20 years I brought in Romania 22 million Euros in European projects in the following fields: Integration aproach Social houses, infrastructure qualifications, jobs antidiscrimination campaign health Social services Training for Roma activists Education Renewable energy Culture

CONCLUSIONS Do we have chances to promote social inclusion in higher education career at the international level? YES but slowly and with enthusiasm.

21 CONCLUSIONS It is necessary to invest in academic arena for Roma students in order to promote social inclusion? KEY MESSAGES After to 15 years he have approximatively Roma students in higher education in Europe Human potential of Roma students as agents of social inclusion Roma students are in context with majority students Investments at PhD level create returns in academia, public policy, applied research and other fields
