And I am small, a mouse, a house mouse
I scurry about in the dark

I am warm and dry, but afraid
I live my life afraid, of their bigness,
of the cat, of hunger, of being caught
The little girl smiled...
She said, a little darling, cutest thing!
Mama, look a mouse..
I am not a thinker, simple me
Just a mouse, a house mouse....
In this example, we can say that personification is used by making the mouse the story teller.
Mice don’t talk, so the poem meets the criteria of ‘giving human like qualities to objects/animals/things that are not human’.

I have a wonderful life. When the sun rises, my owner appears to feed me. First, a bowl of crunchy biscuits are poured out, which I eat like a little piggy in a nano- second. Then, my water bowl is filled and I take a good slurp. After that, we leave for a walk through the village. This is my favourite time of day. I feel as happy as larry as I sniff the grass, run and chase things. Often I chase my ball and bring it back to my owner. I do this many times. It is fantastic fun. After about thirty minutes I come back to my home and watch the morning news with my family. Then, they go to work. I want to tell you what I do when nobody is around but that is a big secret.
