1 Soviet Advance into Germany
The fighting between German and Soviet powers in the East were statistically worse than the Allied/German front in the East 2/3 of all war dead will come from this front 13.6 million Soviets dead (totally civilian and military—27 million) (population of Illinois (13 million) or TX (24 million) 3 million German military killed

3 Germany surrenders As the Soviets approached, Hitler refused to flee the city but instead, went 50 feet underground… Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels then brought his entire family, including six young children, to live with Hitler in the bunker. Hitler began sorting through his own papers and selected documents to be burned. Spet 105 days in the fuhrer bunker below the Chancellory

married his long-time girlfriend on April 28th On April 30th at 2:30am, Hitler shook hands with his colleagues and said his farewells By noon on the 30th, the Soviets were just a block away from the underground bunker He committed suicide at 3:30pm by gunshot Nazi officers (Goebbels) took their bodies outside the bunker and burned them..before burying any remains April 29th, he distributes poison tablets to secretaries, and his beloved dog The next day (May 1st, 1945), Goebbels and his wife committed suicide after killing their 6 children Bodies also burned, but not as well---were discovered Dies on April 30, 1945
