On the Verge What Do You Recognize in the Exemplars?
Explain “On the Verge,” a protocol to look at student work (Jim Vopat resource) Use “On the Verge” and a CCSS grade level exemplars to determine next steps and evaluate where they are performing in relation to end goals, as found in the standards. CCSS Writing Continuum is another helpful resource: pages for grades K to 5 and pages for grades 6-12 How does this help you access? How does this help teacher identify next steps?
