3. IDEA IDEA- “What is IDEA?”
IDEA stands for the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act-
The law allows children with disabilities to be education in a general education classroom with their peers.
IDEA provides the laws that created the IEP process
IDEA was recently reauthorized in December 2004
IDEA was originally enacted in 1975
