2 Name: Fatimah (A.S). Title: Az- Zahra, Ummu 'l-A'immah. Father's name: Muhammad ibn `Abdillah (S.A.W.W). Mother's name: Khadijah bint Khuwaylid. Birth: Born in Mecca of Friday, 20th jumada ` th- thaaniyah in the fifth year after the declaration of the prophethood (615 AD). Death: Died at the age of 18 in Medina on 3nd Jumada ' l-thaaniyah 11 AH; buried in at Jannatul-Baqi in Medina. السلام عليكِ يا فاطمة الزهراء

3 Hadrat Fatimah did not survive more than seventy-five day after the demise of her father. she breathed her last on the 3rd jumada'l - akher 11 AH. Before her demise she bequeathed the following as her will to Imam Ali (A.S.) 1.O ` Ali, you will personally perform my funeral rites. 2. Those who have displeased my should not be allowed to attend my funeral. 3.My corpse should be carried to the graveyard at night. Thus Imam ` compliance with her will, performed all the funeral rites and accompanied exclusively by her relatives and sons carried her at night to Jannatu l-Baqi, where she was laid to rest and her wishes fulfilled.

6 Imam Hassan (AS) said: 'on the friday night I saw my mother (Fatima (as)) standing in her arch of prayer. She was continuously kneeling and performing prostration till the dawn broke. I would hear her pray for the faithful men and women, but she did not at all pray for herself. I said, 'Oh mother why did you not pray for yourself like you prayed for others?' so she replied, 'Oh my son, first thy neighbour and there after your own house.'

7 Agonies and anguishes and griefs poured upon me in such a way that had they poured upon days those would have turned into nights. (bleak, dark and bewildering). السلام عليكِ يا فاطمة الزهراء

8 The Holy Prophet said: Whoever injures (bodily or sentimentally ) Fatimah, injures me ; and whoever injures me injures Allah; and whoever injures Allah practices unbelief. O Fatimah ! If your wrath is incurred, it incurs the wrath of Allah; and if you are happy, it makes Allah happy too."

15 Bibi Fatima (A.S) After the death of my father, the sufferings that befell me were so great that if such hardships fell on the days, the days would turn into nights.

20 It is better for women not to see those men who are not their close relatives, and not to be seen by those men, unless it is necessary. (Bahar Al Anvar, Vol.37, Page.69) It has been narrated from Fatimah (A.S.)

21 When a woman stays at home and deals with the household works, just at that time she is closer to God. (Bahar Al Anvar, Vol.43, Page.92)

22 If you do what we order you to do and avoid what we caution you against, you are our Shi'ite, otherwise you are never one of our Shi'ites. (Bahar Al Anvar, Vol.68, Page.155)

23 I love three things of the world: 1.The recitation of the Quran 2.Looking at the face of the Prophet (S.A.) and 3.Almsgiving in order to please God. (Nahjol Hayat, Page.271) It has been narrated from Fatimah (A.S.)

29 Say (O Muhammad), I do not ask any recompense for it (my work as a messenger), except the love of my near relatives (Ahlul Bayt)…. ~(Ash-Shúrá, 42:23)

30 The Prophet (S.A.W.W) said: "Surely my daughter Fatima is: the leader of all women from the beginning to the end, she is part of me, and the light of my eyes, she is the flower of my heart, and is my soul, (Fatima) is a human huri, who whenever she stands in prayers in the presence of her lord (S.W.T), her light illuminates the skies for the angels, like stars shine to people on Earth".

31 Imam Sadiq (A.S) said: Fatima has nine names near Allah (S.W.T), they are: Siddiqah (the honest), Al-Mubarakah (the blessed one), At-Tahirah (virtous), Az-Zakiyah (the chaste), Ar-Radhiatul Mardhiah (a person, other than a prophet, that the angels speak to), Az-Zahra (the splendid).

32 Allah made the obedience of Muslims to us (Ahlul Bayt) as discipline for the Omma, and our leadership as safety from differences. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

34 Allah made the faith for you as purity from polytheism (and infidelity). Bibi Fatima (A.S)

36 And rendered alms for the purity of your soul and flourishment and expansion of your sustenance. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

37 And rendered fasting for the maintenance and firmness of your sincerity. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

38 And Allah set Hajj for the consolidation and reinforcement of the religion. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

39 Allah executed and rendered justice for the sake of putting together and harmonization of the hearts. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

40 And (Allah made) Jehad (holy war), the honor and glory for Islam and abjectness and humbleness for the infidels and the hypocrites. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

41 And (Allah rendered) patience as a help for getting reward. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

42 And (Allah made) the kindness to parents as a protectional (shield) to His wrath and displeasure. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

43 And Allah made joining and connecting with the kinship and cognation, the cause of lengthening of life. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

44 And Allah made law of retaliation (revenge for homicide) as the security of blood (from being shed). Bibi Fatima (A.S)

45 And Allah executed the vow performing as a medium for forgiveness. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

46 And (Allah rendered) the correct use of weights measure (units) a medium for stopping from selling less (than actual). Bibi Fatima (A.S)

47 And (Allah rendered) prohibition from drinking wine the cause of taking distance from contaminations (evils). Bibi Fatima (A.S)

48 And Allah made the prohibition to accuse someone of adultery a protection (shield) for avoiding (His) curse. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

49 And (Allah made) refraining from theft for the sake of positive ness and affirmation for modesty. Bibi Fatima (A.S)

50 And Allah prohibited polytheism for the sake of (bringing about) sincerity in (His) adoration and worship. Bibi Fatima (A.S)
