6. Tutorial Skills The candidate must have the ability to:- Communicate
Plan a practical training session
Execute the prepared lesson plan
Assess the pupil’s understanding
Provide feedback and set objectives
Answer the pupil’s questions correctly

7. Assessment
Assessed by an approved diploma holder, an examiner or an approved advanced tutor
Pre-riding check and moving brake test and then ride to at least silver grade
Demonstrate the ability to tutor (as per competencies listed previously)
