General structure of a document
Series of draft Resolutions (internal decisions of the Commission) and/or Recommendations (to EC, Congress, or issues requiring involvement of other WMO bodies) Each Resolution or Recommendation has basically two types of text Preamble (recalling important Congress or EC Resolutions, noting significant situations or developments to take into consideration) Decision(s) as to what the Commission will do, identifying any associated necessary cooperation or support It is recommended to focus on the decision section during the session, as the preamble is included primarily to provide context (additional context may also be provided in accompanying INFs)

Information documents (INFs)
Provide additional background information for draft resolutions and recommendations Are numbered with the same numbering scheme as the associated documents Although they are not officially translated, there may be unofficial translations, or members can use online machine translations (e.g. Google translate), to aid in accessing the information they contain The INFs are for information only; the text is neither discussed nor retained in the final report of the session

The commission shall elect a president and vice-president for the next inter-sessional period Secretariat will present applicable rules Chairperson of Nomination Committee will report the names of eligible candidates In case of more than one candidate for each position, voting will be held
