grades late assignments: the highest grade you can receive is listed below. 1 day late = 70 2 days late = 50 3 days late = 30 missing assignments = 0 test & quizzes : students who receive a 70 or below are given the chance to retest. The highest grade that can be earned is a 70. retest will be given immediately after school dismissal on designated days. Students are responsible for showing up and retesting whenever retesting is necessary.

flipped classroom edpuzzle will primarily be used for homework assignments. You will be required to watch videos and answer questions that are embedded in the video. Many of the videos will cover material just before I teach it in class. My goal is for students to become more familiar with the basic math skills before they’re taught so classroom time is used more efficiently.

student misbehavior 1st offense = name on chart…1st warning 2nd offense = 1ST check bY name…PHONE CALL HOME 3RD offense = 2ND CHECK BY NAME = 2hr DETENTION * IF NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR CONTINUES AND YOU’VE ALREADY BEEN ASSIGNED A DETENTION, THE NEXT STEP IS A REFERRAL.

Ti-inspire cx - hhd each student will be issued a texas instrument cx inspire hand held device. The device must stay in the classroom. If a student damages the device, he/she will be responsible for repairs or replacement. The device will primarily be used for students to complete bell ringers, exit tickets, quizzes, daily work and used as a polling device. Students are not allowed to use the calculator portion of the device, since they are not allowed to use a calculator on the staar test.
