value clarification resolving conflicts & avoiding others can be achieved by frequently reviewing, evaluating & revising your values—value clarification …choosing (have basic understanding of values & can identify some of your own) from alternatives after consideration of consequences freely …prizing (accept values in nonjudgemental way; recognizes that not everyone has your same value system) cherishing public affirming when appropriate …acting (use values consciously in decision-making process) repeating a consistent pattern
