What is Osteoporosis? A disease that over-time, causes bones to become weak and brittle; giving them a more likely chance to break. A person with osteoporosis is normally very weak and cannot over exert themselves in daily activities.

What can osteoporosis cause?
Osteoporosis makes the bones very prone to break The three most common areas Osteoporosis affects is the spine, hips (pelvis), and your wrist; but it can occur in other parts of the body.

What causes osteoporosis?
Osteoporosis is when bone tissue is constantly being absorbed and replaced, and the bone tissue over time is not being replaced as fast as it is being lost.

Can osteoporosis be severe?
Yes, for example; if a pelvis was fractured due to Osteoporosis, if will take a long time to heal back to its normal state. This healing can only be sped up by an operation, and there can be complications postoperative, especially in older adults.
