The nitrogen cycle is a complex biogeochemical cycle in which nitrogen is converted from its inert atmospheric molecular form (N2) into a form that is useful in biological processes.

Legumes (beans and peanuts) have bacteria that live in the roots and “fix” the nitrogen (N2) into a form of nitrogen (NH3)that plants can use
What type of symbiotic relationship is this? Explain.
Mutualism. The bacteria transforms the nitrogen into a form the plant can use and the plant provides the environment for the bacteria to live

As you can see carbon and oxygen are cycled back in forth in these two process - photosynthesis in plants and cellular respiration in almost all organisms
