11 ADDITIONAL SUGGESTIONS
This project has been developed for presentation to the community at large with no curriculum objectives or standards to incorporate. However, it can be expanded in a variety of ways. Some ideas brainstormed include: Invite a guest from the target country to address the group before or after the film or to interact with participants/students. Create additional handouts or materials regarding geography, culture, religion, cultural bias, etc. that will focus on other aspects of the films. Invite a panel of guests to conclude each film to give a different perspective of the target country. Provide appropriate ethnic snacks if permitted. Select learning targets, goals, objectives in alignment with state & district standards.
