3 components:
1) 2 Semi-circular disks to allow blood to flow in only 1 direction
2) Rod
3) Circular ring

 Articulation of the rolling and sliding between the femur and tibia
 2 ligaments act as the mechanical linkage between the two bones
1) Femur (thigh bone)
2) Tibia (shin bone)
