Non finites - Definition
Non – Finites are those forms of verb which are derivatives of Finite verbs but they can not perform the full function of Finite Verbs

They are not affected by: - Number of subject. Person of subject.

Infinitive is used as Noun.
Infinitive - Definition To + Verb (1st Form) is called Infinitive Infinitive is used as Noun.

As Subject (Subject is always a Noun) of Verb (A. V.)
The infinitive - As Subject of a Verb As Subject (Subject is always a Noun) of Verb (A. V.) To err is human. To forgive is a divine. To tell lies is a sin.

As Object (Object is always a Noun) of Verb (M. V.)
The infinitive - As Object of a Verb As Object (Object is always a Noun) of Verb (M. V.) We want to study. She likes to eat an ice cream. I promise to help you.

Verb acting as Adjective
Participle - Definition Verb acting as Adjective Is called Participle They have 3 forms: - Present Participle (Verb + ing) Past Participle (Verb 3rd Form) Perfect Participle (Having + Verb 3rd Form)

Jumping doll is sold at this shop. A crying child gets milk from his mother. 3. The film was interesting.

Having + verb 3rd Form As Adjective Participle -
Having finished the homework I went to play. Having killed the landlord the robber ran away. Having seen this film I can say that it was a wastage of time.

gerund - Definition Verb acting as Noun Is called Gerund Gerund = (Verb + ing)

Now the final lessons Non finites
1. In the first blank of the sentence you should put Verb + ing form. 2. In the other blanks of the sentence you should put To + Verb form. 3. In there is any preposition before the blank then you should put Verb + ing form.
