Policy An evidence base which demonstrates the value of internal audit and highlights key issues affecting the profession Find our latest policy publications, position papers and consultation responses We use this material to represent members' views with policy-makers, regulators, business leaders & the media All policy output available online, grouped by topic and by sector iia.org.uk/policy The most significant initiatives this year (2016) have been: Culture work – The Institute produced a report as part of its contribution as a partner in the Financial Reporting Council’s Culture coalition. Read the report on our website here : Review of the Financial Services Code ( “Effective Internal Audit in the Financial Services Sector”). The original code was published in July The Institute made a commitment to review the code this year and has created an independant committee to do so, led by Mike Ashley,Chair of the Audit Committee at Barclays plc.
