What symbols are represented here and what is their purpose in this image? What does this picture tell us about how Canadians felt about the death of Hitler?

Causes & Consequences You’ve been given a collection of “good evidence” that pertains to the End of World War II. Start with a simple sort of the given materials. Make a pile of Causes of World War II +/- Consequences of World War II Information describing the actual END of World War II

Describe the Event Use the “good evidence” you gathered relevant to the given topic, the End of World War II. Describe the event in the center circle of the organizer.

Focus on the CAUSES Review the “good evidence” you gathered that pertains to the CAUSES of the End of WWII. Select the 3 MOST IMPACTFUL causes of the End of World War II. Record the events and a piece of “good evidence” in the circles. Option 1: Some causes are recent, and others are older Label the events as Short-Term (ST) or Long-Term (LT) Option 2: Some causes are more impactful than others Rank each cause; 1 (most) to 3 (least) impactful

Focus on the CAUSES Review the Causes you’ve identified. Use the boxes on each line connecting it to the event to describe HOW the events you chose CAUSED the end of World War II. This is tough. Make sure you’re THINKING rather than just describing more facts.

REMEMBER: Consequences or outcomes can be positive (+) or negative (-)f Select the 3 most IMPORTANT consequences of the End of WWII from your pile of evidence. Record the events and a piece of “good evidence” Option 1: Some consequences are recent, and others are older Label the events as Short-Term (ST) or Long-Term (LT) Option 2: Some consequences are more impactful than others Rank each consequence; 1 (most) to 3 (least) impactful

Review the Consequences you’ve identified. Use the boxes on each line connecting it to the event to describe HOW the events you chose were consequences of the End of World War II. Consider this; the End of World War II has now become the CAUSE of the +/- CONSEQUENCES you identified. This is tough. Make sure you’re THINKING rather than just describing more facts.
