The Virtualized Environment (VE) program gives customers flexible deployment options. They can choose to deploy virtualized or non-virtualized or mix both depending on what they need. Additionally, they can leverage their existing VMware infrastructure, tools and expertise. Additionally, customers can deploy applications more quickly. For instance, one of our customers, RealPage, indicated that they deployed Call Center Elite 50% faster. And deployed Experience Portal and CMS in hours instead of days. This gives contact centers the flexibility to quickly respond to changes such as a sudden spike in call volume (perhaps due to a popular product that just launched) – leading to greater business agility. Enterprises can also go green and save money. Virtualization lowers capex and opex – as we’ve seen in an earlier side. IT organizations can reduce the number of servers in their data center and also lower the cost of cooling. Virtualization also provides greater resiliency – IT organizations can restore services more quickly, make adjustments in Real-Time and improve their business continuity and disaster recovery – all leveraging the same VMware tools they’re already familiar with.
