11. The Speed of Redesign is completely dependent on Two Things.
Approval/Support of the local board.
Approval/Support of the local teachers association.
Without it, Redesign can take 3-5 years, and only when these two groups are brought on board.

13. Our Two Biggest Challenges
1- The Skills that we are trying to instill in our students are skills that many of us have not had to experience or learn in our own lives and careers.
2- It is easy for us to say what we want, but we struggle with all of the adult issues that prevent us from making any meaningful change.

16. Teacher Redesign Voices
This is the hardest that I have worked, but it is the most rewarding work that I have ever done.
I have been a teacher for over 20 years, and this is what I have always wanted to do. I am so excited.
I didn’t think that I had the skills to lead, but I am so excited that I am finding that skill in myself.
I was nervous about talking to our community leaders, but they are so positive about partnering with us.
I can already see a positive change in our staff and students with our pilots.
