  Baptized a catholic, born on April 20 in Upper Austrian border town, Braunau.
 In 1898, Hitler family moved to Linz, Hitler seeking a career in visual arts, nut fought bitterly with father who wanted him to join civil service
 Father died, mother passing away shortly after from breast cancer
 Hitler failed acceptance into Vienna Academy of Arts

3. Childhood and Family Moved to Vienna from 1908-1913
 End of 1913, Hitler realized his source of income had dried up
 He had personal and business relationships with Jews
 Not until after World War 1, Hitler demonstrated to have an "antisemtic" ideology

4. Career
•Before World War 1, when living in Vienna, Hitler was a painter.
• In World War 1, he was part of the German Army as a runner
•After Germany's loss in war, Hitler agreed to spy on political groups to see if they were dangerous or not
•On July 29, 1921, a vote among the Nazi's determined if Hitler would be made their leader, Hitler winning by a long shot
•On March 1933, The Enabling Act passed powers of legislation, making him a virtual dictator, and Nazi officials became state governors

5. Career
For three years, Hitler fought against President Hindenburg for the role as President and ruler
On July 1934, President Hindenburg died, Hitler took charge, abolishing the title of president
November 1938, Hitler ordered 7,500 Jewish shops be destroyed and 400 Synagogues burned. That night was called "Crystal Night" and was considered to be the beginning of the Holocaust
By Hitler had invaded most of Europe and continued to spread hatred

6. Hitler In Prison
 Hitler lead an unsuccessful Nazi attempt at seizing the German government in 1923.
 This forceful attack was named "Beer Hall Putsch".
 He was convicted of High Treason.
 He could have been sentenced for life, but they only sentenced him for 5 years.

7. Hitler In Prison
 He stayed in prison for only 9 months because of the increasing political pressure from the Nazi Party.
 He was taken to Landsburg Jail where he received a high-class room and was allowed to receive presents and visitors.
 With the help of his private secretary, Rudolf Hess, Hitler wrote Mein Kampf (My Struggle). 
 This was a very detailed autobiography that spoke of his ideologies and ambitions.

8. Psychological Analysis
•Hitler's father described as "tyrannical and physically abusive"
•In a situation out of his control except for his emotions and actions

Jewish people

9. Psychological Analysis
•When in power he became very close with his personal physician who helped manage his symptoms with numerous medications, many were highly unorthodox
Including sedating barbiturates and stimulating amphetamine
•Developed "syhliophobia"
•Had hysterical blindness and mutism due to his PTSD
•Neuroses persisted and worsened
•Diagnosed as a borderline paranoid schizophrenic and hysterical megalomaniac (Dr. Murry)

10. Death
 Died April 30, 1945
 Was a runner for  Germany during WW1 for nearly 4 years
 By defying death, he thought he was chosen by Providence for a special mission
 18 known/recorded attempted assassinations, by his coworkers 

11. • Evidence shows he shot himself with a pistol
Death
• With him was Eva Braun, whom he married two days before their double suicide, and his dog, named Blondi.
• Evidence shows he shot himself with a pistol
• Bodies of Hitler and Eva were cremated in the chancellery garden by the bunker survivors
•It is also believed that both he and his wife swallowed cyanide capsules (which had been tested on his “beloved” dog and the puppies).
